SHNIER supports the United Way
Toronto, Jan. 25/11 –The City of Brampton recognized SHNIER for contribution to their 2010 United Way of Peel Region campaign. SHNIER was proud to receive the certificate of recognition in thanks of their $2,000 donation.
SHNIER, the City of Brampton and the United Way of Peel Region share a belief in the value of community. The United Way of Peel Region uses its donor funds to invest, lead, train, advocate and leverage for Peel citizens. With the support of SHNIER and other Peel-based businesses, the City of Brampton’s campaign raised an impressive $152,845. This money will directly benefit the Peel community which all three organizations call home.
In addition to supporting the United Way campaign, SHNIER is regularly involved with fundraising initiatives for a variety of other community organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Sick Kids Hospital, the Canadian Cancer Society and local food banks.
